Run Lola Run - Inciting Incident

One of the most effective inciting incidents I've ever seen is that of Run Lola Run--one of the most tightly paced movies I've ever seen. After leaving you breathless with an animated intro sequence, we're given all the information we need in the tightest, most concise person imaginable. Lola has a boyfriend who made a mistake, and now she needs to steal a LOT of money. We learn all of this within the first minute of the movie. They cut the BS and get straight to the point. It's so refreshing. There isn't a moment wasted in this movie from its opening frame to its final shot.
